International Days

Women's International Networking Society (WINS), in line with our work towards Building Knowledge & Acceptance, BKA WINS marks particular events or topics in order to promote, through awareness and action. Looking to the United Nations, BKA WINS promotes international awareness and action on these issues. An occasion to educate the public on issues of concern, to mobilize and to address global problems, and to celebrate and reinforce achievements of humanity.

Each International Day offers the opportunity to organize activities related to the theme of the day. The themes of international days are always linked to the main fields of action of the United Nations, namely the maintenance of international peace and security, the promotion of sustainable development, the protection of human rights, and the guarantee of international law and humanitarian action.
